In Saturday's non-league outing, the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), by a margin of 56-31.
The Titans (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Ipswich was trounced by Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 51-23, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Strasburg/Zeeland for a B Region 3 District 6 outing on Monday, January 31. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will clash with a Clippers squad coming off a 36-34 non-league loss to North Central (Eureka, SD). The Clippers record now stands at 2-8.
