In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Rising Sun Shiners basketball team scored a tight 40-36 triumph over the Waldron Mohawks.
In their next game, the Shiners meet the Lawrenceburg Tigers (Lawrenceburg, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 12. Rising Sun will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
With the defeat, Waldron moves to 2-12 on the year. The Mohawks travel to North Decatur (Greensburg, IN) to meet the Chargers in a match on Thursday, February 3. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 0-2. North Decatur lost 45-27 in their recent non-league match against Franklin County (Brookville, IN)
