The Cardinals now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iona Prep for a Catholic AA - New York battle on Wednesday, February 1. Cardinal Hayes will battle a Gaels team coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY). The Gaels record now stands at 11-5.
The Lions (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Gaels come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Iona Prep prevailed over Christ the King (Middle Village, NY), 51-45, in a non-league battle.
