Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Devon Prep Tide (Devon, PA), 61-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cardinal O'Hara upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Saints in a Philadelphia Catholic bout on Monday, February 6. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 15-2.

Next up, the Tide play the Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic bout, on Friday, February 3. Devon Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 72-61 league loss to Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA).
