Michigan High School Basketball - Goodrich overwhelms Pershing

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Goodrich Spartans (Goodrich, MI) and the host Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI), saw Goodrich's basketball squad wallop Pershing by a tally of 70-39.

With the victory, Goodrich improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Linden (Linden, MI) to confront the Eagles in a Flint Metro challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Linden lost 62-57 in their recent league challenge against Kearsley (Flint, MI)

Next up, the Doughboys confront the Tournament Opponent (, ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 6. Pershing will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
