The Wellesley Raiders basketball team (Wellesley, MA), was overwhelmed 50-23 in Sunday's league battle with the visiting Walpole Timberwolves (Walpole, MA)
The Timberwolves now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natick for a Bay State - Herget battle on Tuesday, January 31. Walpole will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 49-36 league win over Braintree (Braintree, MA). The Redhawks record now stands at 2-3.
The Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Newton North (Newtonville, MA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Newton North trounced Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA), 35-34, in a non-league battle.
