Massachusetts High School Basketball - Uxbridge nips Auburn

January 29, 2024: Uxbridge, MA 01569

Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA), 63-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Uxbridge upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Nipmuc Regional won 56-45 in their recent league bout against Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA)

Next up, the Rockets play the Prouty Panthers (Spencer, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 67-47 non-league win over Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA).
