The Bigfork Huskies basketball team (Bigfork, MN), was toppled 61-42 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN)
The Giants now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floodwood for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Mesabi East will confront a Polar Bears team coming off a 104-19 non-league loss to Braham (Braham, MN). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-15.
The Huskies (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against South Ridge (Culver, MN). The Panthers come into the A Section 7 battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, South Ridge was toppled by Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN), 107-48, in a non-league battle.
