Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper Perkiomen knocked off by Boyertown

The Boyertown Bears basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Upper Perkiomen Indians to 47 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bears now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norristown for a Pioneer - Liberty contest on Tuesday, January 30. Boyertown will battle a Eagles team coming off a 73-66 non-league win over Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-11.

The Indians (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA). The enter the Pioneer - Frontier contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Pope John Paul II ran past Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
