Kentucky High School Basketball - McCracken County tipped by Carlisle County

The Carlisle County Comets basketball team scored 55 points and held the host McCracken County Mustangs to 53 in the Comets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Comets now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickman County for a District 1 contest on Thursday, February 1. Carlisle County will meet a Falcons team coming off a 59-49 league win over Fulton City (Fulton, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 3-13.

The Mustangs (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Blue Tornado enter the District 2 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Paducah Tilghman was nudged by Marshall County (Benton, KY), 59-58, in a non-league contest.
