Louisiana High School Basketball - Central Private can't hold off Kentwood

The Kentwood Kangaroos basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Central Private Redhawks to 57 in the Kangaroos league triumph on Monday.
The Kangaroos now sport a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salmen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Kentwood will battle a Spartans team coming off a 63-56 league loss to Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-16.
The Redhawks (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 1A District 9 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Thrive Academy nudged Kentwood (Kentwood, LA), 55-28, in a league contest.
