Rancho Dominguez Lobos (Long Beach, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA), 79-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rancho Dominguez upgrades its record to 9-16 on the campaign. The Lobos host Carson (Carson, CA) to play the Colts in a Marine bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 10-14. Carson won 60-50 in their recent league bout against Banning (Wilmington, CA)

Next up, the Tarbabes play the Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Compton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-20 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 68-51 league loss to Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA).
