The Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Turtle Mountain Braves to 48 in the Lakers league victory on Monday.
The Lakers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rugby for a A Region 3 contest on Thursday, February 1. Des Lacs-Burlington will battle a Panthers team coming off a 69-54 league win over South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND). The Panthers record now stands at 5-7.
The Braves (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND). The Firebirds come into the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Devils Lake prevailed over Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND), 89-82, in a non-league contest.
