Washington High School Basketball - Everett can't hold off Monroe

The Everett Seagulls basketball team (Everett, WA), was nudged 56-55 in Monday's league battle with the host Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA)

The Bearcats now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edmonds-Woodway for a 2A/3A Wesco battle on Wednesday, January 31. Monroe will battle a Warriors team coming off a 67-55 league win over Cascade (Everett, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-8.

The Seagulls (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Shorewood (Shoreline, WA). The Stormrays come into the 2A/3A Wesco battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Shorewood edged Cascade (Everett, WA), 63-51, in a league battle.
