First Baptist Academy Eagles (Powell, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting White Academy Knights (Harrogate, TN), 80-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, First Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 2-22 on the season. The Eagles host Concord Christian (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Lions in a Division II-A East District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Concord Christian won 94-51 in their recent league bout against Apostolic Christian (Maryville, TN)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Washburn Pirates (Washburn, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. White Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 86-51 non-league loss to Union County (Maynardville, TN).
