Virginia High School Basketball - Fluvanna County trounces Powhatan

The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), 79-49 in Monday's non-league test.
The Flying Flucos (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots go into the Jefferson test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Albemarle walloped Goochland (Goochland, VA), 98-39, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Richmond City School of the Arts for a Dominion test on Wednesday, January 31. Powhatan will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 73-45 league loss to James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-14.
