In Monday's non-league outing, the Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA), by a margin of 80-74.

The Trojans (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, David Emanuel Academy nipped Trinity Christian (Statesboro, GA), 71-57, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors (Damascus, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Westwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 56-50 non-league win over Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA).
