Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hamburg Wildcats (Hamburg, IA) and the host Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), saw Hamburg's basketball squad wallop Whiting by a count of 65-26.

With the victory, Hamburg upgrades its record to 1-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Shenandoah lost 65-38 in their recent league challenge against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Whiting will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 71-39 non-league loss to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE).
