The NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks basketball team (Waxhaw, NC), was overwhelmed 69-44 in Monday's league battle with the host Lab University Prep Regional Lab Rats (Charlotte, NC)

The Lab Rats now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moravian Prep for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, January 30. Lab University Prep Regional will confront a Lions team coming off a 77-69 non-league win over Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Lions record now stands at 18-1.

The NightHawks (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Knights come into the Metro Area battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Lee Park Prep trounced Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC), 74-32, in a league battle.
