Maine High School Basketball - Lake Region trounces Mountain Valley

The Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) basketball crushed the host Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), 68-46 in Monday's league test.
The Lakers (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Poland (Poland, ME). The Knights go into the B South test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Poland was trounced by Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME), 66-44, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Poland for a B South test on Tuesday, January 30. Mountain Valley will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Knights record now stands at 3-12.
