The Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY) basketball knocked off the host Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), 71-58 in Monday's non-league test.
The Aces (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Panthers go into the District 9 test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Daviess County notched a victory over Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY), 63-48, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Union County for a District 6 test on Friday, February 2. Webster County will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 72-47 non-league loss to Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Braves record now stands at 9-10.
