The Tigers now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peoria for a Big Twelve battle on Friday, February 2. Urbana will battle a Lions team coming off a 62-53 non-league win over Lanphier (Springfield, IL). The Lions record now stands at 12-10.

The Irish (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders come into the Big Twelve battle with a 0-20 record. In their last battle, Bloomington was nudged by Champaign Central (Champaign, IL), 72-34, in a league battle.
