In Monday's non-league match, the visiting The Vanguard School Coursers basketball team scored a good 80-70 triumph over the Peyton Panthers.
In their next game, the Coursers meet the La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks match, on Wednesday, January 31. The Vanguard School will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-12 record after their 80-31 league loss to Salida (Salida, CO).
With the defeat, Peyton moves to 8-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Highlanders in a 3A/2A Black Forest match on Thursday, February 1. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 7-7. Thomas MacLaren School lost 61-58 in their recent non-league match against Fowler (Fowler, CO)
