In Monday's non-league outing, the St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL), by a margin of 64-61.

The Green Wave (9-14) will now prepare for their outing against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles go into the Chicagoland Christian outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, Aurora Christian was tipped by Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL), 75-61, in a league outing.

The Sentinels now own a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1.
