The Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) basketball crushed the visiting Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV), 52-26 in Monday's league test.
The Cougars (20-1) will now prepare for their test against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Douglas walloped Galena (Reno, NV), 56-49, in a non-league test.
The Miners now own a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Reno for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Bishop Manogue will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 51-49 league loss to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 16-6.
