The Barnegat Bengals basketball squad scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Pinelands Regional Wildcats to 20 in the Bengals league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Barnegat upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Toms River East (Toms River, NJ) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Toms River East lost 52-42 in their recent league bout against Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) in a Shore B - South bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Pinelands Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 41-40 non-league win over Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ).
