Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Berkley Bears (Berkley, MI) and the visiting Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), saw Berkley's basketball squad hold off Heritage by a tally of 42-40.
With the victory, Berkley improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Adams (Rochester, MI) to confront the Highlanders in a Oakland - Blue challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Adams lost 55-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Chemics come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 46-31 league loss to Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI).
