Minnesota High School Basketball - Carlton/Wrenshall ripped by Mesabi East

The Mesabi East Giants basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Carlton/Wrenshall to 31 in the Giants non-league triumph on Monday.
The Giants now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deer River for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Mesabi East will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-66 league loss to North Woods (Cook, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 10-11.
The (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] was routed by Swanville (Swanville, MN), 60-43, in a league contest.
