The Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY), 45-44 in Monday's non-league test.
The Colonels (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Crittenden County was tipped by Pikeville (Pikeville, KY), 69-41, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host South Warren for a District 14 test on Friday, February 2. Warren Central will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 58-40 non-league win over Logan County (Russellville, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 9-10.
