The Clay Eagles topped the visiting Maumee Panthers basketball team by a final score of 36-24 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH) in a Northern Lakes game, on Thursday, February 1. Clay will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Little Giants enter the game with a 14-3 record after their 68-56 non-league win over Start (Toledo, OH).
With the defeat, Maumee moves to 11-7 on the year. The Panthers host Genoa Area (Genoa, OH) to face the Comets in a Northern Buckeye game on Thursday, February 1. The Comets enter the game with a record of 10-5. Genoa Area won 44-18 in their recent non-league game against Southview (Sylvania, OH)
