The Edgar Wildcats basketball squad scored 53 points and restricted the host Rosholt Hornets to 51 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Edgar upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Phillips (Phillips, WI) to play the Loggers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Loggers come into the bout with a record of 16-2. Phillips won 67-33 in their recent league bout against Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI)

Next up, the Hornets play the Port Edwards Blackhawks (Port Edwards, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - South bout, on Thursday, February 1. Rosholt will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Blackhawks come into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 74-8 league loss to Wild Rose (Wild Rose, WI).
