Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA), 61-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kuemper upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Knights travel to Harlan (Harlan, IA) to play the Cyclones in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Thursday, February 1. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Harlan won 38-34 in their recent non-league bout against Winterset (Winterset, IA)

Next up, the Thunder play the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Grand View Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
