In Monday's league outing, the Hermann Bearcats (Hermann, MO) basketball squad beat the visiting Sullivan Eagles (Sullivan, MO), by a count of 40-24.

The Bearcats (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Owensville (Owensville, MO). The Dutchmen go into the Four Rivers outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Owensville was topped by Helias (Jefferson City, MO), 36-34, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to St. Clair for a Four Rivers test on Friday, February 2. Sullivan will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-44 non-league loss to Cuba (Cuba, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-13.
