The Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA), 45-28 in Monday's non-league test.
The Phoenix (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Osbourn (Manassas, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Osbourn went down by Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA), 60-22, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Woodgrove for a Catoctin test on Wednesday, January 31. John Champe will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 65-23 league win over Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-1.
