La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westby Norsemen (Westby, WI), 57-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Crescent upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Lancers travel to Onalaska (Onalaska, WI) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Onalaska lost 63-49 in their recent non-league bout against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI)

Next up, the Norsemen clash with the Viroqua Blackhawks (Viroqua, WI) in a Coulee bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Westby will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 69-12 league loss to West Salem (West Salem, WI).
