Toms River North Mariners (Toms River, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 67-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Toms River North upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Mariners host Toms River South (Toms River, NJ) to play the Indians in a Shore A - South bout on Thursday, February 1. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Toms River South lost 62-19 in their recent league bout against Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ)

Next up, the Lions play the Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Lacey Township will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record.
