With the victory, St. John upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Fighting Herald travel to Mathews (Vienna, OH) to play the Mustangs in a Northeastern - Stars challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-14. Mathews won 51-17 in their recent league challenge against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH)

Next up, the Rockets play the United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Maplewood will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 39-35 league win over Columbiana (Columbiana, OH).
