The Maranacook Black Bears basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Telstar Rebels to 43 in the Black Bears non-league victory on Monday.

The Black Bears now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dirigo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31. Maranacook will battle a Cougars team coming off a 48-15 non-league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.

The Rebels (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Mountain Valley dropped by Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME), 55-18, in a league contest.
