Maine High School Basketball - Winthrop trounces Mount Abram

The Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME), 55-28 in Monday's league test.
The Ramblers (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Oak Hill walloped Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME), 55-18, in a league test.
The Roadrunners now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Spruce Mountain for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. Mount Abram will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 66-43 non-league win over Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 12-2.
