The Murray Tigers (Murray, KY) basketball knocked off the host Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), 44-36 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers go into the District 4 test with a 17-5 record. In their last test, Calloway County notched a victory over Christian Fellowship (Benton, KY), 75-59, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Stewart County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Trigg County will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 47-34 non-league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 6-6.
