The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons basketball team scored 2 points and restricted the host New Standard Academy Spartans to 0 in the Dragons non-league victory on Monday.
The Dragons now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hill-McCloy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will battle a Rams team coming off a 71-24 non-league win over Atherton (Burton, MI). The Rams record now stands at 8-4.
The Spartans (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Beecher (Flint, MI). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Beecher edged International Academy (Flint, MI), 37-29, in a league contest.
