The Wright Red Devils basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Ontonagon Gladiators to 33 in the Red Devils league triumph on Monday.
The Red Devils now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakefield for a Copper Mountain contest on Thursday, February 1. Wright will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 42-39 league win over Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-5.
The Gladiators (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston (Bessemer, MI). The Speedboys enter the Freelance contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Johnston ran past Dollar Bay (Dollar Bay, MI), 66-60, in a non-league contest.
