Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Purchase Line overwhelmed by United

The Purchase Line Red Dragons basketball team (Commodore, PA), was overwhelmed 62-25 in Monday's league battle with the host United Lions (Armagh, PA)

The Lions now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cambria Heights for a Heritage battle on Tuesday, January 30. United will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 60-54 league win over Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-8.

The Red Dragons (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Harmony Area (Westover, PA). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Harmony Area trounced Grier (Tyrone, PA), 58-7, in a non-league battle.
