In their next game, the Eagles face the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent game, on Tuesday, January 30. Rocky Mount Academy will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 9-8 record after their 39-35 non-league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC).

With the defeat, Wilson Christian Academy moves to 14-8 on the year. The Chargers travel to Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC) to face the Spartan in a non-league game on Thursday, February 1. The Spartan enter the game with a record of 15-2. Christ Covenant won 47-42 in their recent non-league game against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)
