The Apache Junction Prospectors soccer team scored 3 points and limited the host Cortez Colts to 1 in the Prospectors league victory on Monday.

Next, the Prospectors face the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon contest, on Wednesday, January 31. Apache Junction will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a 4-8 record after their 1-0 league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).

The Colts now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coronado for a 4A Black Canyon contest on Wednesday, January 31. Cortez will face a Dons team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Dons record now stands at 0-10.
