Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) and the visiting Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), saw Fluvanna County's basketball squad wallop Powhatan by a count of 47-19.

With the victory, Fluvanna County upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Flying Flucos host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Albemarle won 67-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Goochland (Goochland, VA)

Next up, the Indians play the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Powhatan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 60-16 non-league loss to James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA).
