The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles basketball team (Washington, DC), was overwhelmed 55-15 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD)
The Raiders now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Point for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2.
The Eagles (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC). The Panthers come into the battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, St. Anselm's Abbey was overwhelmed by Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD), 64-24, in a league battle.
