Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs (Nebo, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC), 39-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nebo Crossing Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC) to play the Fire in a bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Fire go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Christian Family Academy won 44-16 in their recent league bout against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders (Lincolnton, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Pinnacle Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 40-19 league loss to Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC).
