The Tempe Buffaloes soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Vista Grande Spartans to 0 in the Buffaloes league victory on Monday.

Next, the Buffaloes face the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon contest, on Friday, February 2. Tempe will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Prospectors enter the contest with a 0-14 record after their 7-2 league loss to Cortez (Phoenix, AZ).

The Spartans now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dysart for a 4A Black Canyon contest on Wednesday, January 31. Vista Grande will face a Demons team coming off a 1-0 league win over Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ). The Demons record now stands at 12-3.
