In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Moody Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 44-42 triumph over the Chelsea Hornets.
The Blue Devils (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 23-7 record. In their last contest, Ramsay nipped Hueytown (Hueytown, AL), 77-67, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 3. Chelsea will attempt to advance on its 10-17 season record.
